As an intern (m/f/d), you can apply to us for your compulsory internship(see e.g. hier ) as part of your studies or for a voluntary internship, e.g. with your Bachelor's degree before your Master's degree. You will be part of our highly qualified, experienced software development team in industrial product development.

Right in the middle of it ...

With us, you can learn the difference between programming and careful software development for industrial applications. You will be involved in projects relating to our TÜV Süd-certified product hier . We offer a wide range of possible tasks. Examples

  • Creation of a practical demonstrator of a safety application on 1-channel embedded hardware:
    • You port an existing demonstrator from Linux to an embedded hardware that works completely without an operating system.
  • Preliminary investigations to secure Rust programs with the help of SIListra Systems Tools:
    • You will systematically experiment with Rust programs to work out the challenges for using Rust with the SIListra toolchain and co-develop a prototype for processing Rust code.

Tasks will be discussed together with the mentors and selected based on your interests/skills.

We will introduce you to the topic of developing software-based, functionally safety-critical systems. Diligence and the dual control principle are the be-all and end-all for us. You do not need any previous knowledge of hier . During your internship, you will be fully integrated into our team, gain practical experience and become aware of the importance of continuous integration with GitLab for increasing software quality.

Ideally, your internship will last at least four months, preferably six. Your skills will be greatly enhanced. Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to write your final thesis with us.


You are ...

  • a student (m/f/d) of computer science or a comparable course of study (mechatronics, electrical/electrical engineering).
  • interested in at least one programming language (C/C++, Rust, or similar), which you have already proven in smaller private software projects and can show us (for example on your GitHub page).
  • a team player, curious and have a tinkerer gene in you that lets you grow with every challenge.
  • proficient in the English language and can use it in spoken and written form
  • informed about the purpose of our high-tech company SIListra Systems and can explain your understanding to us after visiting our homepage and our YouTube video channel
