Employee IT / IT Administrator in R&D Team (m/f/d)

Our client is a research-oriented company in the railroad industry. It was founded in Aachen in 2021 and is a subsidiary of the world's largest railroad manufacturer. The company's products include all types of passenger train vehicles, from high-speed trains to maglev trains, intercity trains, subways, streetcars and light rail vehicles, etc. As a growing company, our clients are looking for experienced assistants who can join the international team.

Your tasks:
This is what your day with us will look like:

• You will maintain and expand the server and network infrastructures.
• You will provide 1st and 2nd level support and solve software and hardware problems.
• Your work will also include installing and supporting PCs, notebooks, mobile devices, printers and scanners and connecting them to our cloud infrastructure.
• You will carry out IT security and information security activities.
• You will ensure the functionality of all tools and systems.
• You will contribute your own ideas, knowledge and experience and work with us to develop professional solutions

Your qualifications at a glance:

• You have completed vocational training as an IT specialist for system integration or an equivalent qualification in the IT environment
• Practical experience in IT support/service desk or application support gives you a head start
• You enjoy working in a team and can draw on your good English skills as well as your analytical and communication skills
• Finally, you score points with your independent, solution-oriented and flexible way of working as well as a high willingness to learn
