To strengthen our team in Dresden, we are looking for a
Specialist, Customer Service (f/m/d)
to help us ensure seamless communication and exceptional service for our clients, including the willingness to work in late shift and on weekends.
As a Specialist, Customer Service, you will be the key contact point between our customers and the Tekscend organization. Your primary responsibility will be managing all order-related communications and ensuring that customer needs are clearly understood and met. Through proactive, responsible, and friendly communication, you will contribute to the overall customer satisfaction and help drive business growth by identifying opportunities for improvement in quality, service, delivery, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide proactive support and expert guidance to customers throughout the product order lifecycle (pre-order, during order, and post-order),
Create customer-specific documentation and deliver training to ensure smooth order processing,
Serve as the primary point of contact for customer communication, handling clarifications, troubleshooting, and status updates. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as production, development, and rejection management to resolve issues,
Enter orders into the company-specific production system efficiently and accurately,
Drive continuous process improvement within the department, identifying opportunities for optimization,
Monitor, record, and present key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and assess operational efficiency,
Actively participate in product launches, customer onboarding, and process changes,
Plan, organize, and represent the company in customer review meetings and site visits.
Your Profile:
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field (preferably within the semiconductor or high-tech industry), or equivalent knowledge and practical experience
Strong customer-focused mindset with high motivation, team spirit, and collaboration skills
Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both German and English
Solid process orientation with a keen interest in continuous improvement and efficiency
Strong sense of responsibility, decision-making capability, and the ability to handle complex tasks independently
Analytical skills with a good understanding of KPIs and performance monitoring
Ability to work effectively under pressure while managing competing priorities and challenges
Highly organized, goal-driven, and results-oriented with a proactive, self-motivated work style
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); basic programming knowledge is an advantage
