camLine specializes in the development of software within the scope of production automation. As part of an Elisa group of companies, we are looking for a dynamic and motivated Sales Development Representative for for their German office in Gießen.

You will play a key role in the development of sedApta as the market leader in Sales & Operations Planning as well as Execution software. One key thing that we look for in all of our team members is the degree to which the candidate can expand into new roles & business areas.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Liaising between regions to manage lead routing efficiently.
  • Reporting on lead status, conversion progress, and sales pipeline to the Sales Manager or Director, ensuring accurate data for forecasting and performance analysis.
  • Tracking personal performance metrics, including lead conversion rates and call and email response rates.
  • Reaching out to leads from the marketing teams and outbound efforts, qualifying their interest, and determining their fit for the product.
  • Nurturing leads through ongoing conversations, addressing objections, and answering questions.
  • Collaborating with Account Executives to pass on qualified leads and schedule meetings, demos, or calls for further engagement.
  • Partnering with marketing teams to leverage inbound marketing efforts and convert leads from campaigns.
  • Consistently meeting outreach and conversion targets by advancing leads through the sales cycle.

Requirements:

  • 10-15 years of industrial software sales experience.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the sales funnel and the role of outreach in driving lead conversion.
  • Familiarity with CRM and sales automation tools (e.g. HubSpot) for effective lead management and interaction tracking.
  • Strong ability to prioritize high-potential leads and focus efforts on those most likely to convert.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and educate leads effectively.
  • Ability to tailor messages to address unique pain points and needs of each lead.
  • Strong relationship-building skills to establish rapport and trust quickly.
  • In-depth knowledge of the company’s offerings and the ability to clearly articulate product value in response to leads’ needs.
  • Understanding the importance of lead conversion in the broader sales cycle and revenue goals.
