Introduction

GlobalFoundries Fab1 PI&Y Department (Process Integration & Yield) is looking for a highly motivated Yield Engineer to drive sustainable product yield improvement in one of the most advanced semiconductor manufacturing facilities in Europe. The chips produced in Fab1 cover a wide application range including consumer products, mobile, automotive, computing and space.

For your analysis work you will use various advanced software applications. The results of your data assessments and correlation studies are documented in comprehensive reports and will be discussed with subject matter experts in Process Integration, Defect Engineering (CFM), Manufacturing Module Engineering, Device, Test and Design departments.

Your efforts will help to contain and fix production deviations with impact on product yield, secure stable production and support capacity expansion of Fab1. You will directly interact with our international customers to report the yield metrics of your products.
