Introduction
You will be part of the advanced technology development team turning state of the art research into innovative volume production ready technology features. Our technology development team is embedded in the GlobalFoundries’ state-of-the-art 300 mm wafer fab (Fab1) in Dresden, Germany.
This position is established to strengthen our Next-Generation FDX technology development team, with the objective of advancing our FDX platform toward the next-generation FDSOI node.
In the role of Experienced Process Integrator, you will serve as a critical interface between research and manufacturing, assuming technical ownership for the development and integration of process flow modules (FEoL, MoL, BEoL). Your contributions will be essential in delivering industry-leading performance and enabling competitive differentiation for our customers.
Your Job
Perform physical and electrical characterization of advanced semiconductor features.
Contribute to the design and analysis of experiments to optimize specific performance parameters.
Support technology development tasks within a volume production environment.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to address technology challenges related to quality, performance, and manufacturability.
Contribute to collaboration with research institutes where required, supporting the transfer of scientific findings into industrial applications.
Support technical interactions with customers as needed.
Assist in executing technical feasibility studies.
Provide technical support to other teams and departments.
Communicate results and progress within the team and to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
M.Sc. in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline is required; PhD is a plus.
Good knowledge of modern CMOS process integration and key techniques such as CVD, lithography, and RIE.
Experience in FDSOI is preferred.
Basic understanding of test chip design, tape-out (T/O), design rules, and technology–design interactions.
Solid foundation in statistics and data analysis methods.
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams as well as independently.
Good English skills are required; German is a plus.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
