Intern: 6G Wireless Communications Prototyping (m/f/x)
Although the deployment of 5G has only just begun, the focus of researchers in academia and industry is already shifting to the 6th generation of wireless communications. Similar to 5G, NI wants to be on the leading edge and is preparing for the next technology wave.
Your Tasks
Become part of our research team and help us to investigate and prototype 6G wireless systems with specific focus on using new machine learning techniques as part of the wireless transmission system. Depending on your abilities, extend existing prototyping software and conduct experiments to verify and quantify new ideas.
Your Qualifications
- Student (m/f/x) of Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with focus on communication systems, in the 5th semester or higher
- Basic knowledge in
- Linux, Python, and C programming
- Digital signal processing (e.g., OFDM)
- Interest in hands-on experimentation and prototyping
- Beneficial: basic knowledge in Machine Learning
- Self-organized and structured working style
- Fluency in German or English
- Compulsory internship (duration: 6 months)
