Robotron*Daphne – Die Sammlungsdatenbank, ist ein Sammlungsmanagementsystem, mit dem Museen und ähnliche Institutionen ihre Kunstobjekte digitalisieren und dokumentieren können. Mit robotron*Daphne erfolgt die Erfassung und Verwaltung großer Bestände überdurchschnittlich effektiv.
Im Kontext der Datenerfassung und -pflege wird auf eine Vielzahl von Normdaten und Vokabularen zurückgegriffen. Neben innerhalb von robotron*Daphne gepflegten Katalogen sind auch externe Normdaten angebunden. Für die Verschlagwortung wird derzeit die Gemeinsame Normdatei der Deutschen Nationalbibliothek (GND) genutzt. Angaben mit einer Georeferenz beziehen die Daten aus der geographischen Datenbank GeoNames.

Im Rahmen der Arbeit soll die Möglichkeit der Einbindung und Verwendung weiterer Normdaten und Vokabulare in robotron*Daphne konzipiert und umgesetzt werden. Beispielhaft seien hier genannt:
- AAT – Getty Art and Architecture Thesaurus
- TGN – Getty Thesaurus of Geographical Names
- ULAN – Getty Union List of Artist Names
- ICONCLASS – RKD Rijksbureau voor Kunsthistorische Documentation
Im Idealfall wird für die Einbindung ein generischer Ansatz verfolgt, so dass die Anbindung neuer Normdaten nicht individuell umgesetzt (programmiert) werden muss, sondern z.B. per Konfiguration angebunden werden kann.
Anforderungen
- Studium der Informatik, Wirtschaftsinformatik, Medieninformatik oder verwandte Studiengänge
- Kenntnisse im Bereich Eclipse RCP, Java und ggf. SQL
- Erfahrungen in der Erstellung und Anbindung von RESTful Services
- Erfahrungen im Bereich Datenbankanwendungen sind hilfreich aber nicht Bedingung
