Software Engineering Manager (gn) Focus: Sales/ CRM

In a nutshell:

• As part of our continued expansion, we are looking for a Team Lead (gn) for our Inhouse CRM Software Development Team.
• The success of innovative software solutions depends to a large extent on the performance of the range of functions offered. At the same time, modern software applications must be innovative and easy to use for the end user.
• We use the latest Microsoft technologies to develop innovative software solutions for our customers.
• Agile development methods (SCRUM, KANBAN) help us to react quickly to the requirements of our customers, partners and global markets. This enables us to achieve very short time-to-market cycles.

• Product Owners and Product Managers with focus on Business Domain “Sales”
• Development teams
• Global Director Software Engineering
• Enterprise and Solution Architects
• Talent Acquisition and People&Culture

• Organizational and disciplinary management of software developers and consultants globally
• Setting up and recruiting new developers/consultants for the CRM platform
• Supporting the team members in their personal development as well as in the fulfilment of their operational tasks, in order to achieve the ambitious goals of SoftwareOne
• You establish and improve the software engineering processes together with the teams
• You participate in the design, implementation, documentation and testing of software solutions - in other words, you know what it's all about
• You take responsibility for compliance with quality assurance processes
• If necessary, you take on the coordination and management of external service providers
• You will work closely with the Product Management as well as the Product Owners in order to jointly create the best solutions for our internal customers.

The direct Lead:

your experience & knowledge

• Profound experience in managing challenging CRM projects
• Experience in leading and developing staff
• Good overview of current capabilities of the market leading CRM platforms like Microsoft Dynamics 365 incl. Power Platform or Salesforce
• Good overview of modern software engineering practices mainly low-/no-code environments
• Proven knowledge in the design of sales processes and their implementation with market-leading software providers
• Good knowledge of agile software development methods, especially SCRUM and KANBAN
• University or technical college education in computer science with a focus on software engineering or a comparable qualification

your communication skill

• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in an agile team environment
• Excellent communication skills, especially in English.
