Intern: Driver Development for 5G/6G SDR Hardware (m/f/x)

NI is a leading manufacturer in the field of Software Defined Radios (SDR) - tunable receivers for designing, prototyping, and deploying radio communication systems, especially for 5G/6G. The heart of our SDR products is the open-source driver. To further improve the user experience, we are looking for an intern at our Dresden R&D site to extend existing and add new features.

Your Tasks

• Design and implementation of APIs and features in the SDR hardware driver (UHD)
• Create tests for newly created APIs and features

Your Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Student (m/f/x) of Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (from 4th semester)
• Programming experience in
  • C++
  • Python
  • or similar programming languages
• Fluency in English
• Duration: 3 – 6 months

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with SDRs, UHD, GNU Radio
• Experience with Git version control
