Intern: Driver Development for 5G/6G SDR Hardware (m/f/x)
NI is a leading manufacturer in the field of Software Defined Radios (SDR) - tunable receivers for designing, prototyping, and deploying radio communication systems, especially for 5G/6G. The heart of our SDR products is the open-source driver. To further improve the user experience, we are looking for an intern at our Dresden R&D site to extend existing and add new features.
Your Tasks
- Design and implementation of APIs and features in the SDR hardware driver (UHD)
- Create tests for newly created APIs and features
Your Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Student (m/f/x) of Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (from 4th semester)
- Programming experience in
- C++
- Python
- or similar programming languages
- Fluency in English
- Duration: 3 – 6 months
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with SDRs, UHD, GNU Radio
- Experience with Git version control
